Four-piece Bethlehem band L.A. FASTLIFE joined us at Shards in April 2019. The band has its roots in the punk rock of the 1970s with the members undertaking cover sets from both Wire and the Stooges before setting out to play their own original songs. L.A. FASTLIFE made their live debut in 2017 with Don Loughney on vocals/guitar (Poor Diet, Daytime Cleaners), Ben Roysdon on bass, and Lee Romich on drums (Ugly Zoo, FAKE CULT). The final addition to the band was Becca Buhler on guitar (Small Mess, Ghost Lily) before releasing their debut self-titled album in 2018, employing a gritty lo-fi recording style.
