You may know Nazareth punk band the Mega Yeah from their set at Tape Swap’s stage at Allentown ArtsFest 2019. They’ve also played shows around the Lehigh Valley at places like the Alternative Gallery in Allentown and the Jacksonian Club in their hometown, Nazareth. With an impressive collection of demos, live recordings, and acoustic tracks, the Mega Yeah may not have a debut album to rally around just yet, but they are building a strong catalogue of songs that rip with just the right amount of catchy shout-along choruses.
Guitarist/singer Jimmi Buskirk, drummer Dan Green, and bassist Tyler Kern came to Shards to record this session in November 2019 as they were preparing to embark on a tour with Joe Jack Talcum of the Dead Milkmen. We saw hints of Joe Jack’s love of the band when he included the Mega Yeah in his mixtape during our interview back in May 2019. This was the last session we recorded before the COVID-19 lockdown.
